Obituary of Edward J. Jaczynski

Holley: Edward J. Jaczynski, age 77, passed away peacefully at his home on March 9, 2018. He was born October 21, 1940 in Batavia and would remain in the area his entire life.

Ed is a retiree of Eastman Kodak where he worked for over 30 years. He enjoyed gardening and spending time outside. Ed served our country in the U.S. Navy from 1960-1964 during the Cuban Missile Crisis. He was a lifetime member of Hobo Junction Post #202 VFW in Holley.

Ed is survived by his wife of 47 years, Rosemary, children; Scott Jaczynski of Rome, NY, Christine (Dan) Callahan of Holley, Tonya (Robert Schnaufer) McGee of Medina, Deborah (Jill) Jaczynski of Rochester, sister; Irene, 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the Merrill Grinnell Funeral Home, 39 Geddes St. Holley, NY 14470, on Tuesday March 13th from 5:00-8:00pm only. A graveside service with full military honors will be held in the spring at Holy Cross Cemetery.
