Obituary of James M. Buckland

(Kent/Rochester)  James M. Buckland age 72 died April 1, 2019 at Monroe Community Hospital.  Jim was born January 1, 1947 in Albion, a son of the late Jay and Velma (Stafford) Buckland and had lived in this area most of his life.

Jim graduated from Kendall High School in 1966 and had last worked at Alliance Tool and Die in Rochester.

He is survived by his son Jim Buckland of Rochester; brothers John (Mary Ann) of Kent, Robert (Elizabeth) of Chili; his sister Mary (Richard) Jewsbury of Kendall and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 16650 State Rte. 31 Holley on Saturday from 11:00am-12:00pm where his Memorial Service will follow at 12pm.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Monroe Community Hospital Activities Department, 435 E. Henrietta Rd. Rochester NY 14620.
