Obituary of Richard A. Grandy

(Albion)  Richard A. Grandy age 62 died unexpectedly at his home on June 9, 2019.  He was born July 21, 1956 in Rochester, a son of the late Frank and Gertrude Grandy and had lived in this area most of his life.

Richard collected coins, eagles and dolphins. He loved to fish, camp and watch the Miami Dolphins. He was considered a jack of all trades because he did most of his own work around his home.

He was predeceased by his brothers Roger and Lee; brother-in-law Bill Wadam.  He is survived by his daughter Alexis (Ethan Jutrowski) Grandy of Holley; step-children Gary (Jessica) Williams of Batavia, Tabatha Clark of Buffalo, Gary (Ashley) Jackson of Batavia, Peggy (Taimoor) Zahir of NJ, Katty Jackson, Lyle Grandy both of Batavia, Mary (Curtis) Johnson of GA; brothers Bill (Kim) Tuttle of Holley, Dave (Tina) Grandy, Sr. of IL; sister Mary Wadam of Batavia and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 W. Ave. Thursday June 13th from 11:00am-12:00pm.
