Obituary of Ellen E Draper

Albion- Ellen E. Draper (Canham), 99, was called to heaven on Saturday, June 29, 2013 from her home after a short illness. She was the daughter of James and Ellen Canham, who resided in the Town of Carlton. She has been a lifetime resident of the area. She was a lifetime member of the Albion VFW Ladies Auxiliary and was also their oldest member. Ellen was predeceased by her husband Clyde, an infant son, Robert, Grandson Joseph, a brother and sister, 3 sons-in-laws. She is survived by 8 children, Marjorie Aldrich of Florida, Donald (Elise) Draper of Albion, Jeanette Sokol of Alabama, Elizabeth (Richard) Rogers of Florida, Mary Glomboski of Long Island, New York, James (Chun) Draper of North Carolina, Donna (Robin) Lake of Albion, Bonnie (James) Bartleson of Colorado; 15 Grandchildren; 32 Great Grandchildren; 14 Great Great Grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. There will be no prior calling hours. There will be a graveside service on Friday, July 5, 2013 at Mt. Albion Cemetery at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Orleans.
