Obituary of Shafreda L. Thompson

(Brockport)

It is with great sadness Shafreda L. Thompson, “Freda” 39, passed suddenly on January 3, 2018.  She was born in Brockport NY to Carrie Thompson (Pugh) and Samuel Thompson Jr.

She attended Albion Schools until moving to Brockport where she graduated in 1996.  Freda loved music, attending concerts and jazz festivals.  She was employed at Brockport Central Schools Transportation Department. 

Along with her Mother Carrie, she is survived by sister, Samaria Pugh; Brothers, JW (Jennifer)Hardy Jr., Samuel Jackson; Nieces, Shehan, Ashley, Janessa, Asia, Lakila, Jayvonna, Jaylynn; Nephews, Robert, Jordan, Denzel, Samuel; Great Niece Leilani; Great Nephews, Dayveon, Titus; many Aunts, Uncles, Relatives and friends. 

She was predeceased by her father Samuel Thompson Jr., Grandparents Samuel and Laura Thompson, Judge and Jewell Pugh. 

A celebration of Shafreda’s life will be on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc.  21 West Ave, Albion, at 11:00am, with David Rubiano officiating.  Interment will follow in Mt. Albion Cemetery.
