Obituary of Sara L. Burroughs

Albion:  Sara L. Burroughs, 84, passed away February 9, 2018 at The Villages of Orleans, with her family by her side.  She was born April 22, 1933 in Brockport a daughter of the late Marc and Elizabeth (Karns) Cole Jr.  Sara has lived in this area all of her life and was a member of the Pullman Memorial Universalist Church.  Mrs. Burroughs was an Interior Decorator in this area for many years.  She enjoyed completing crossword puzzles in the N.Y. Times, reading, and gardening and loved spending time with her family.

She was predeceased by her husband L. LeRoy Burroughs in 1988.  Mrs. Burroughs is survived by her children, Carlos (Susan) Burroughs of Albion and Veronica Morgan of Rochester; grandchildren, Elizabeth and Kelly Morgan, Lauren (Thomas) Kovaleski and Andrew Burroughs.

Services and interment will be private at Mt. Albion Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pullman Memorial Universalist Church, P.O. Box 87, Albion, NY 14411.
