Obituary of Edward R. Szozda

Edward R. Szozda age 64 died suddenly on March 6, 2018 at his home.  He was born September 11, 1953 in Rochester, a son of the late Edward T. and Mary (Harris) Szozda and had lived in this area for the past 40 years. 

Ed was a member of St. Mark’s Church in Kendall.  He participated in Koinonia and Cursillo.  He was an active member at Atlas Fitness in Spencerport.  Ed loved to be at home fiddling or puttering around because he could never sit still.

In addition to his parents, Ed was predeceased by his brother Randolph.  He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Lynn; his daughter Andrea (Shawn) Szozda-Dunn of Greece; his son Edward (Bridget Miskell) Szozda of Kendall; granddaughter Jenavieve; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 16650 State Rte. 31 Holley on Friday March 9th 3-6pm.  His Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at St. Mark’s Church in Kendall at 10:00am.  Memorials may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, 435 E.
