Sincere sympathy to Janice's family. Because she graduated from high school with my aunt, Joyce DeZetter Clark, my mother and I were also friends with her. She was such good company! I don't really know anyone quite like her. When I first met her, she immediately started dancing as if she were a ballerina. She had seen me in a dance recital years before. Isn't that classic Janice? I'm remembering her wit and kindness and good cheer. And I'll always remember her with love.

I am so, so sorry to hear of Janice's passing. I had the opportunity of meeting Janice through NYSEG, which we were employed there. Our friendship grew and we had so many good times together. You could always count on Janice, especially if you were having a bad day, to make you laugh. What a joy and privilege it was to have her as a close friend for many years. And she has such a loving and close family, which she was ever so thankful for. We were all so blessed to have Janice in our lives. She will be sadly missed by all and my prayers are with her and her family.

Jan sparkled; she laughed, took photos, shared kindly and loved deeply. The world is more dim now.
Truly, she will be missed.

Sad to hear this. I knew Janice 62 years and she always made me
laugh. Plus she always called me Charlie. She mixed me up with
Charlie Narburgh and it stuck. She had a wonderful sense of humor.
Gordon Sharon and Dick I am so sorry for your loss.

My deepest condolences to the family; we all grew up together, Sharon and I used to sneak in Jan's closet and play in her shoes....Janice and my mother were long time friends. I am very sad at this loss.

I met Janice while I was working at Albion Elementary. I was an aide in a class and Janice was a volunteer. We became close friends and took two trips together. We always had a great time together; she could always make me laugh. I retired in 2011 and she would tell me she would keep me busy when I retired. Unfortunately, that didn't happen. A few months after I retired she suffered a stroke. It was very difficult to see such a vital person so incapacitated. I will always remember her and our fun times. Rest in peace dear friend.
