Obituary of Mary Ellen Seaman

(KENDALL)

Mary Ellen (Hardenbrook) Seaman, age 74, passed away peacefully in her home on 5/28/2018.  Mary Ellen was born May 19, 1944 in Albion, NY, a daughter of the late Walter and Olive (Silvernail) Hardenbrook and has lived in Kendall ever since.  Mary Ellen graduated from Kendall Central High School in 1961 and Rochester Business Institute in 1962.  Mary Ellen married Stephen A. Seaman on August 31st, 1963.  She had worked at Hochstein School of Music and Arnold Gregory Memorial Hospital as Director of Business Affairs, retiring in 1990 to stay home and help with her four grandchildren.  Mary Ellen enjoyed the simple things in life; feeding birds, her dogs and cats, and her loving family.  Her family was her world.  She was a true believer and practiced the “family first” motto.

She was predeceased by her siblings: William (Marion) Hardenbrook, Burton (Ernie) Hardenbrook, and Kathryn (Lloyd) White.

Mary Ellen is survived by her husband of 54+ years, Stephen A. Seaman, son: Patrick Walter (Amy) Seaman, grandchildren: Samantha MaryGrace Seaman, Rebecca (Adam) Grillo, Paula Miller, Steven (Carla) Miller, great-grandchildren: Anna and Lena Grillo, as well as many other family and friends.

Family and friends are invited to attend Mary Ellen’s Funeral Service SATURDAY JUNE 2, 2018 at Concordia Lutheran Church, 1769 Kendall Road-Kendall beginning at 2 p.m.
