Obituary of William F. Laskey

(Johnsons Creek)

William F. Laskey, age 72, died 7/11/2018 in Niagara Hospice following a brief illness.  He was born 4/12/1946 in Lockport to William and Jean (Slater) Bowes and was a lifetime resident of this area. 

Bill was the owner and operator of Bill's Window Cleaning.  He attended the Hess Road Wesleyan Church and enjoyed tinkering with cars, watching movies...especially at the Drive-in and was a major Star Trek fan.  Bill's family described him as being a work-a-holic as he had a tremendous passion for his buiness and the people he worked for. 

Mr. Laskey was predeceased by his foster father: Harold Faba. 

He is survived by his wife of 47 years Linda, his brother: Vincent James Bowes of Lockport, his sisters: Linda Gogolack, Deborah Miller and April (Rick) Aikens all of Lockport, sisters and brothers-in-law: Gary (LaVonne) Ward of CA, Laurie (Arthur) Newton of Medina, his foster mother: Elaine Mesanto as well as several nieces and nephews. 

Family and friends are invited to attend Bill's Memorial Service Wednesday July 25, 2018 in the Hess Road Wesleyan Church, 2514 Hess Road, Appleton, NY, 14008 beginning at 11 a.m.  Interment will be in Hartland Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport, NY, 14094.
