Obituary of Michael Joseph Myers, Sr.

Michael J. Myers Sr., age 79, died 8/2/2018 in Unity Hospital following a brief illness. 

He was born 10/26/1938 in Rochester to Joseph and Mary (Featherly) Myers and had lived in this area his entire life.  Michael was a member of St. Mary’s Church, and the St. Mary’s Archers Club.  He was an avid hunter, a true outdoorsman and he especially loved to fish. 

Mr. Myers was predeceased by a brother Daniel Myers.  He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Marion, his sons: Michael (Colleen) Myers, Jr. of Hamlin, Kevin (Linda Billitier) Myers of Clarkson, Keith (Carla) Myers of Irondequoit, his brother: Charles (Patricia) Myers of Greece, sister-in-law: Carol Myers of Greece, grandchildren: Marlin, Michael, Layla, Gordon, Eliza, Cooper and Ilyssa as well as several nieces and nephews. 

The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 16650 State Rt. 31 (W. Albion Rd.)-Holley, MONDAY from  5-8 p.m. where his Funeral Service will be held TUESDAY 11 a.m.  Entombment in Holy Cross Mausoleum.
