Obituary of Marcia A. Buckner

Marcia A. Buckner age 68 died August 29, 2018 at Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital in Buffalo following a short illness.  She was born August 23, 1950 in Albion a daughter of the late Vincent and Helene (Wilsea) Buckner.

Marcia was passionate about her work and she had retired from the Villages of Orleans where she had worked as an LPN.  She was devoted to her family and hosted their family Christmas Eve party every year. She loved to play pinnacle; but most of all, loved winning even more.  Marcia loved collecting bells and taking summer trips with her dear friend Debbie. 

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by the love of her life, Andy; her sister Linda Hawkins; her brothers Brian and Brent Buckner.  She is survived by her nephews Vincent (Jeanne) Hawkins, James (Kelli) Hawkins, Brad Buckner; nieces Rhonda Hawkins, Elizabeth (Marty) Bezon, Katie (Brian) Stefaniak; sister-in-law Patti Buckner; brother-in-law Walter Hawkins; several great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.

There are no prior calling hours.  A celebration of her life will be held Saturday September 15th at the Junior Wilson Sportsmen’s Club, 3875 Bates Rd. Medina NY 14103 from 2:00pm-6:00pm.  Memorials may be made to the Wilmot Cancer Center, 601 Elmwood Ave. Rochester NY 14642 or to the American Diabetes Association, 1200 Scottsville Rd.
