Obituary of Janice A. Oliver

Kent, NY: Janice A. Oliver, age 68, passed away after a brief illness on November 3, 2018 with her family by her side. She was born November 13, 1949 in Medina to the late Thomas and Lois (Palmer) Cook, Sr.

Janice spent most of her life taking care of people. She worked as a home health aide for many years, building great relationships with everyone that she cared for. Janice was loved by many people and loved her family tremendously.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Larry Oliver, as well as her mother and father-in-law, Ellen and Roswell Oliver.

Janice is survived by her significant other, Michael Dewhurst, daughters, Rhonda (Dan Henchen) Oliver, Krista (Richard) Burgess, Cindi (Steven) Maxwell, brother, Thomas M. (Gail) Cook, Jr., grandchildren, Nicole Henchen, John Burgess, Kassidy Dent, Karli Henchen, Brooke Burgess, Olivia Maxwell, Ryan Maxwell, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 West Ave. Albion, NY 14411 on Wednesday, November 7th from 3:00-6:00pm where her memorial service will be held immediately following at 6:00pm.
