Obituary of Eunice L. Pike

Eunice L. Pike, age 90, died 11/7/2018 in her home following a short illness. 

She was born 2/27/1928 in Albion to Joseph and Bessie (Marshall) Lusk and had lived in the area most of her life. 

Eunice loved to bowl, do cross-word puzzles, word searches and playing cards.  She was an avid reader and a die-hard NY Yankees fan.  In her earlier years, she played bass in a Country Western band called The Clay County Playboys.  As a mother of 15 children, she was a terrific story-teller to her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren.  Her family was indeed her life-long passion. 

Mrs. Pike was predeceased by her two husbands: George Kuhns and James Pike, a son: Ted, 3 brothers: Stanley, George, and David as well as 2 sisters: Bessie and Betty. 

She is survived by her children: Linda Burgio of Albion, Floyd (Judy) Kuhns of KY, Sandra (Clyde) Wills of Albion, Kenny Kuhns of Albion, Harry Kuhns of Waterport, Tom (Lorrie) Kuhns of Oakfield, Kathy (Charles) Frisco of FL, Joe Kuhns of NC, Debbie (Scott) Jenkins of FL, Connie (Tim Tully) Coon of Waterport, Shelly Cranford of NC, Marty Landauer of Albion, Pat (Evan) Jermyn of TN, Sherry (David) Turkey of Canada, her brother: Donald (Iva) Lusk of Albion, her sister: Patricia Peruzzini of Waterport as well as 60 grandchildren, great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews. 

The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 West Avenue-Albion, TUESDAY 11/13/2018 from 10am-2pm where her Funeral Service will be held following calling hours at 2pm.  Interment will be in Mount Albion Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of Orleans County, P.O. Box 489, Albion, NY, 14411.
