Obituary of Stanley H. Allen
(Albion) Stanley H. Allen age 83 died November 15, 2018 at Strong Memorial Hospital surrounded by his family. Stan was born August 21, 1935 in Millville, a son of the late George and Laura (Tucker) Allen and had lived in this area all of his life.
He was a member of the Orleans Vets Club and the Albion Rotary Club where he received the Paul Harris Fellowship Award. Stan owned and operated A&D Insurance Agency in Albion for many years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, golfing and baseball. But most of all Stan loved watching his grandchildren play Little League Baseball and was most proud that he never missed a game.
He was predeceased by his brothers George (Linda), Kenny and his sister Kathy Shaver. Stan is survived by his wife of 54 years, Donna; his children James Proietty of Dallas TX, Colleen (Gernot) Simon of Clearwater FL, Darren Allen of Albion, Curt Allen of Medina, Heidi Riemer of Medina and Shawn Allen of Medina; grandchildren Krista Guido, Stephanie and Mark Proietty, McKayla and Miranda Allen, Ethan Allen, Ryan, Matt and Brett Riemer; great-grandchildren Lucy, Alice, Simon, Oscar Guido; sister-in-law Barb Allen of Middleport; brother-in-law Robert Shaver of Gasport and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105.
