Obituary of Nathaniel A. Strong

Nathaniel A. Strong age 34 died November 17, 2018 at Strong Memorial Hospital surrounded by his loving family.  He was born September 21, 1984 in Dallas TX, a son of Daniel and Kathleen (Spencer) Strong and had lived in this area most of his life.

Nate saw the beauty and wonder of nature.  He endeavored to capture its beauty with his photographs.  He also had a great love for animals.  He fed the homeless cats that lived near his home.  Nate also loved our pets, especially his cat Sassy.  They loved him too.  He was an avid football fan but most importantly Nate was a very caring and giving young man and was always willing to help others.

In addition to his loving parents Dan and Kathy, he is survived by his daughter Lilyan Strong; his sisters Jennifer (Val) Andrei of Manhattan NY, Stephanie (Wayne) Krull of Waterport, Andrea (Mike) Porte of NC; maternal grandmother Helen Spencer of Waterloo; nieces and nephews Maddax, Carter, Zachariah, Jensen, Ellery, Benjamin, as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.

There are no prior calling hours.  A celebration of Nate’s life will be held at the convenience of the family.  Memorials may be made to either Strong Memorial Hospital ICU, 8-3400 Unit or the Palliative Care Unit, 601 Elmwood Ave. Rochester NY 14642.
