Though I did not know Lorena well, as one of her teenage children's teachers, I felt I knew her through them. If they were anything like their Mother, I unequivocally conclude that she was as much of a model to them as anyone might have asked of a Mother.
Though I was unable to be there today, I extend my sincerest sympathies to the entire family.

Lorena was such a great friend and memories will always be with me. I can picture a much younger Lorena fishing off a dock at Harry's marina, throwing seeds in my garden for many years, most of the perennials is my garden are a reminder of how sharing she was. She would call me and see if there was coffee on, she would do this even though it was hard to get around because almost nothing held her back from what she wanted to do. I will miss her so very much.

Am blessed to have known Lorena for so many years. Earliest memories include visits by the family to our home in Alfred, NY. I appreciate the fact that she, Ralph, and Margaret continued calls and visits with my parents, Wally and Norma Higgins, over the years. Though a bittersweet occasion, it meant so much to have them come to Dad's funeral and reception just this past September. Hugs and prayers to Ralph and Margaret during this difficult time.
