Obituary of Shawn George Roberts "Smith"

Kent: Shawn George Roberts “Smith”, age 59, passed away unexpectedly on March 8, 2019. He was born June 7, 1959 in Albion to Annette Hageman and would remain in Kent his entire life.

Shawn had a special gift of his wit and humor to always get you to laugh and make your day happier. He was a perfectionist as a custom spray applicator for Growmark and Helena Chemical. Shawn was always so proud of his one on one relationship with the farmers and always called them respectfully, Mr. He had a love for any type of music, mowing his lawn and a tremendous love for his girls.

Shawn is survived by his mother, Annette (Gerald Baehr) Hageman, daughters, Heather (Dennis) Roberts and her mother, Paula Wuest, Kailah (Collin) Roberts and her mother, Tonia Young, siblings, Robin (LouAnn) Roberts, Darlene (David) Krull, Lorilyn (Gregory) Jurs, Darren Roberts, granddaughter, Anja Kato, special friends, Mike Furness, Kevin Drew, as well as several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 West Ave. Albion, NY 14411 on Monday, March 11th from 2:00-4:00 & 6:00-8:00pm where his funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 12th at 11:00am. Interment will be held in Mt. Albion Cemetery.
