Obituary of Margaret Ann DeGraff

Margaret Ann DeGraff, of Brockport, formerly of Albion, passed away March 12, 2019. She was born May 2, 1971 in Albion to the late Donald and Ella May (Hay) DeGraff.

Margaret enjoyed researching her family genealogy and making people laugh. She recently worked as a resident counselor at Villa of Hope in Rochester. Margaret was always good at helping and supporting people in need and cherished her role as being an “auntie” to her niece and nephew.

Margaret is survived by her sister, Susan (John) Steier, of Albion, nephew and niece, Evan and Annalise Steier, uncle, Harold (Joanne) Hay of Batavia, cousins, David (Angela) Hay, Julie (Tedd) Olix and their children, as well as several other cousins and their families.

The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 West Ave. Albion, NY 14411 on Monday, March 18th from 4:00-7:00pm where her memorial service will be held Tuesday at 11:00am. Interment will be held privately in Mt. Albion Cemetery.
