Obituary of James Alan Rush

Albion: James Alan "Jim" Rush, age 70, passed away March 24, 2019. He was born April 16, 1948 in Albion, NY to the late Luther “Zeke” Rush and Bette McWilliams.

Jim was a master fisherman, electrician and a great baseball player. In his spare time he enjoyed camping. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandkids. Jim served in the U.S. Navy.

Jim is survived by his loving wife, Valerie (Elwell) Rush of Albion, sons, Thomas James (Carmen) Rush of Charlotte, NC, Michael John (Megan) Rush of Barre Center, Michael (Danielle) Blake of Clarendon, Steven Blake of Henrietta, grandchildren, Aiden Rush, Owen Rush, Audrey Blake, Annabelle Rush, Brinn Rush, Lilianna Rush, Nolan Blake, brothers, Stephen (Heather) Rush of FL, Brian (Pamela) Rush of Waterport, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 West Ave. Albion, NY 14411 on Tuesday, March 26th from 1:00-3:00pm only.  Memorials may be made to the Albion Betterment Committee, 3806 Allens Bridge Rd. Albion NY 14411.
