Obituary of Edna Mae Overton

Edna Mae Overton, age 70, of Buffalo, previously of Newfane. entered into rest on Monday, February 4, 2019. Born December 19, 1948 in Lockport, Edna was the daughter of the late Clarence Gleason and Lucy Wilson. Edna loved to travel and was a jokester who loved to play pranks. She enjoyed socializing with her friends at the Senior Center. A music enthusiast, she loved to go out and listen to live performances. She was an avid walker and if you gave her a reason, she loved to dress up. Surviving Edna are her children: Diane Stacy, Alan Stacy and Jennifer Bove. Grandmother of: Karen Stacy, Ruben Rivera, Mark Rivera, Alexis Rivera, Michael Rivera and Shawn Rivera, Amanda Stacy and Matthew Stacy. She was predeceased by a son: Richard Stacy. Sister of: George Gleason and Roseanne Gleason. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Friends and relatives will gather on Sunday, February 10, 2019 at 2:00 pm from the Fieldstone Restaurant, 5986 South Transit Road, Lockport, NY for a Remembrance Luncheon.
