Obituary of Betty L Steele

Betty L. Steele, age 76, of Medina, entered into rest on Sunday, March 31, 2019 at Eastern Niagara Hospital in Lockport. Born February 23, 1943 in Latrobe, PA, Betty is the daughter of the late: George and Mary (Crusan) Hill Jr.

Betty married Robert L. Steele on August 19, 1961 in Strattonville, PA. Mr. Steele died December 12, 2003. Betty was a 1961 graduate of Roy-Hart High School. She worked at European Meats in Gasport from 2007 thru 2008, previously working at Peters Dry Cleaning for 8 years. Betty enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, crocheting, flowers, bingo and doing ceramics and was a member of the Middleport United Methodist Church.

Surviving Betty are her daughters: Lorinda Milstead and Vickie (Mike) Kresin. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert and a son, Robert V. Steele. Sister of: Lauraetta Elliott, Shirley Chase, Evelyn Slenke and George (Linda) Hill

Grandmother of: Cody W. Milstead, Mariani and Lucky Kresin. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to attend visitation at the Sherrie-Bream Funeral Home, 4521 Main Street, Gasport, on Friday, April 5, 2019 from 4 pm until 5 pm when a celebration of life will be celebrated for Betty at 5 pm from the funeral home.
