Obituary of Carol G. Ward

(Albion)  Carol G. Ward age 61 died May 20, 2019 at United Memorial Medical Center in Batavia with her daughter and grandson by her side.  She was born March 30, 1958 in Albion, a daughter of the late Richard and Maryjane (Walburn) Kennedy and had lived in this area most of her life.

Carol enjoyed the activities at the Villages of Orleans where she resided.  She could never sit still and loved being on the move.  She loved watching the Home and Garden channel, especially Property Brothers, but most of all, she loved spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her granddaughters Jasmine and Destiny.  Carol is survived by her children Christa Ward of Medina, Joel (Danielle) Ward of Holley, Tanya Ward of Brockport, Tracey Nottingham of Medina; grandchildren Mark, Noah, Mia, Kasey, Kyle, Kreg, Dakota, Richie, Tyler; a great-grandchild on the way; her husband Joseph; sister Sandra Rodges of Lyndonville as well as 3 other sisters, 2 brothers and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 W. Ave. Albion on Thursday May 23rd 6:00pm-8:00pm.  A celebration of her life will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.  Memorials may be made to United Memorial Medical Center, Comfort Care, 127 North St. Batavia NY 14020.
