Obituary of Robert J. Beckler

Robert J. Beckler, age 81, died May 22, 2019 at his residence following a long illness. 

He was born September 17, 1937 in Rochester and had lived in this area his entire life. 

Robert was a Veteran of the United States Navy and a retiree of General Motors Delco in Rochester.  He was known by his family and friends for being a “Mr. Fix-it” and was very generous with his time.  He enjoyed loading his own ammunition and shooting his firearms.  Robert was a man with strong family values and spent much time taking care of his daughter Mary. 

Mr. Beckler was predeceased by his wife Charlotte Marie, a son: Gregory, 1 brother and 5 sisters. 

He is survived by his children: Keith (Allison) Beckler of FL, Sage (Chuck) Marie of PA, John (Sarah) Beckler of Batavia, Daniel (Barbara) Beckler of Slovenia, Robert Beckler of GA, Mary Elizabeth Beckler of Clarendon, 4 grandchildren: Isabella, Jack, Luca, and Mila. 

There will be no prior calling hours.  Robert’s service and private interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
