Obituary of Eleanor J. Rocco

Albion: Eleanor J. “Mickey” Rocco, age 85, passed away on June 1, 2019 at Medina Memorial Hospital. She was born March 7, 1934 in Albion to the late Leola Standish.

Mickey was an active member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, St. Mary’s Club, Albion VFW and was a retiree from the Albion Correctional Facility.

Mickey was predeceased by her first husband, Russell Williams, second husband, Donald M. Rocco, and sister, Marilyn Morris.

Mickey is survived by her daughter, Robin (Joe) Luczak of Medina, grandchildren, Russell Barnes, Julie Luczak, great-granddaughter, Neveya Barnes, brother, Richard (Bettylou) Standish, best friend and beloved pet, Koko, special niece, Debbie, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 West Ave. Albion, NY 14411 on Thursday, June 6th from 10:00-12:00pm where her funeral service will follow at 12:00pm. Interment will be held in Mt. Albion Cemetery.
