I am so sorry to hear of Suzanne’s passing. I didn’t know her well but my husband Jim (recently deceased) knew her for a very long time. We would see her now and then at the Wilmot Cancer Center. She always had a smile on her face and was so positive. I know she was a very courageous person facing a horrific cancer for so many years. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her and loved her. Rest In Peace Suzanne. God bless you.

Dear Bob, Chris and Jennifer,
We are so sorry for your loss of Suzanne. Our family so much enjoyed her singing and camaraderie in the St. Joseph's/Holy Family Choir throughout the years! Along with her mother, Kay, we felt just like "family" in the choir. My father, Bob, especially loved Suzanne's voice and was honored to have her sing at my parents' 50th Anniversary years ago, as we all were!!
Like you, we will miss her vibrant smile and contagious personality!! She no doubt went straight to heaven to be with her parents and will be looking down on you and all of us!!!
You are all in our prayers at this time....hang in there!!
All our Love, Gerry, Claire and Nelson Golden

Mrs. Wells was a wonderful teacher. As a student the time she took with me, her guidance and encouragement helped shape my career. She was never critical but always found a way to motivate me. She helped me set my own expectations higher than I would have. Without her as a teacher I may never have pursued art, then industrial design at RIT and the resulting opportunities. I realize now how lucky I was to have her, how unique her kindness, humor and inspiration were. Looking back I don't know how she managed with some of the students but no matter the chaos she brought out the best in those that could be helped! I last saw her a couple of years ago, I am glad I did, we had a wonderful visit. I am sorry for your loss, we are all fortunate to have known her.

I was a student of Mrs. Wells in the early 80’s. I had my share of teachers throughout elementary school up through my college years. However, Mrs. Wells was by far one of the best teachers I ever had in any school. I will always be grateful for the incredible kindness she showed to each and every one of her students. She displayed integrity, humor, and an extraordinary amount of patience when dealing with a bunch of unruly high school students on a day to day basis. My deepest sympathy to you and your family. I truly feel blessed and honored that Mrs. Wells was a part of my life!

Suzanne Wells is my sister’s (Sue Baker) neighbor and I met Suzanne at the Clarkson Cursive Camp. She graciously agreed to teach two lessons during the summer camp to the fourth and fifth graders. (I teach the cursive at 9:00). I talked with her, watched her teach and admired her instantly. She had it all: skill, joy, and kindness. I asked her if she would come back next year and she said, “God willing, I will be back.” I hope my pictures from the camp will upload. I will always remember Suzanne with love and joy in my heart. I am so sorry for her passing.

I now have my Masters- and owe a lot to her early education and encouragement. She was an inspiration. My condolences go out to her family. She was incredible.

One of the few teachers that truly changed lives.
It was a joy to share bits and crossing of life from 1985-2019 with her, starting in art classes where she acted with far more grace, compassion and class than we unruly ill mannered teenagers deserved, and re connected years later on the car cruise circuit. Most recently I had the pleasure of singing in the choir at Holy family just up until this past Easter. Now she has a easter of her own.
She carried herself with uncommon, grace and humility even in the trail of life, God bless all who will miss her; I will always remember her kindness and her voice.
Peace to you.

Suzanne was a very special lady! I loved her dearly. About three or four weeks ago she came to Marti's Tuesday art group and we went to the high school to see the student art show. We were blown away that there were many pieces of artwork that Suzanne's students had done years ago. It was a wonderful moment!!! And a testimony to her teaching abilities. We hadn't seen her here for quite a while, and it was serendipitous that she came and we got to see the fruits of her labor at the school. May she rest in peace. She will be sorely missed by everyone who know her. A great talent and a wonderful human being. Till we meet again.......

Mrs. Wells was my Art teacher at Albion High School and what a amazing teacher she was. I moved to Arizona after graduating. This last year when I was home for a visit I actually saw her after all those years. I was having lunch at 39 problems and she came in to get hers. Her bright smile grabbed my attention and I felt as if I knew her. I said hello and right off the bat she said, Hello Brenda so nice to see you. I knew who she was the minute I heard her voice. Standing there in a very vibrant outfit and she looked amazing. If you had Mrs. Wells for class you wouldn't forget her. She was kind, caring and funny. Above all she was able to pull the creativity out of me. I loved her and her class, I do believe my love for art is because of her. What a fantastic woman she was and a fighter on top of that. Even with her cancer her smile shined bright. I will never ever forget you and I'm blessed to have had that short visit with you to tell you how much you impacted my life as a kid. My deepest condolences to her family I pray for you all. God brought another angel home. RIP
