Obituary of Kenneth O. Paisley, Jr.

Kenneth Orval Paisley Jr. of Middleport passed away on June 25, 2019 after a short illness. 

He was born November 9, 1963 in Berwick, PA, the son of Mary and the late Kenneth Paisley Sr.

Ken grew up in Berwick where he was active in scouting, earning the Eagle Scout rank. He was a graduate of Bloomsburg University, after which he pursued a career in environmental science. He came to WNY in 1993 to work for Sevenson Environmental as their Technical Service Manager, a position he held until he became disabled in 2018. He was also a Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM). Ken was a member of the Coles Creek Sportsmans Club and loved the outdoors and conservation, a love he passed unto his children. He enjoyed spending time with his family and was the consummate “hockey dad”.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife Lauren (Sionko) and children Daria and Thomas, at home. Brother of Kathy Jo (Brian) Minnick and their children Chase and Abbigail. Brother in law of Traci (Steven) Phillips and their children Kirstin, Samantha, and Violet.  Son in law of Ray and Marion Sionko. Also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family will receive friends at the Bates, Wallace & Heath Funeral Home, 38 State Street-Middleport, SATURDAY from 11am-1pm when Ken’s Memorial Service will be held following visitation.  Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
