Obituary of Ronald R. Porter

Ronald R. Porter, 83, passed away July 6, 2019.  He was born March 29, 1936 in Hartland a son of the late Raymond & Minerva (Baldwin) Porter. Ronald served his country in the US Marines from 1956-1959, retired from Harrison Radiator after 42 years of service and loved horses. 

Predeceased by his brother, Robert (Judith) Porter

He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Nella; children, Kim (Kurt) Zunner, Mary Jo (Greg) Stewart and Ronald (Desiree) Porter Jr.; 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; brother, Gerald (Marge) Porter and several nieces & nephews.

Ron’s graveside service will be held at Hartland Central Cemetery, 8514 Ridge Rd. Gasport, on Wednesday July 10, at 11:00am.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Niagara Hospice 4675 Sunset Dr. Lockport, NY 14094.  Ron’s arrangements have been entrusted to Sherrie-Bream Funeral Home in Gasport.
