Obituary of Irene E. Lynch

Wilson: Irene E. Lynch, age 94, passed away peacefully at home on July 14, 2019. She was born August 29, 1924 in Buffalo to the late Albert and Elizabeth (Burkhart) Rostin.

Irene loved to knit tend to her flowers. She loved all animals and especially loved spending time with her cats. She worked as a housekeeper at Newfane Hospital before she retired. Irene was a fun loving and generous person to many.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband Arthur G. Gillis, second husband Andrew A. Lynch, son Arthur Gillis Jr. siblings, Florence Schrader and Albert Rostin.

Irene is survived by her daughters, Edith (Gil) Seekings, Deborah Gillis and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends at the Kenneth H. Sherrie Funeral Home, 6139 East Ave. Newfane, NY 14108 on Friday, July 26th from 1:00-2:00pm where her memorial service will follow at 2:00pm.
