Obituary of Mario Salvatore Mana

(Albion)  Mario “Mike Mana age 71 died July 24, 2019 surrounded by his family at the Buffalo VA Medical Center.  He was born October 29, 1947 in Auburn NY, a son of the late Salvatore and Doris (Pealo) Mana and had lived in this area most of his life.

Mike had served in the US Army form 1966-1969.  He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and was a member of the Veteran Bikers Motorcycle Club.  He was an avid hunter and liked shopping at the Goodwill Store, but most of all he loved to spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will remember him as a “jokester”.

He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Louise; children Mario Mana Jr. of CA, Anthony (Kelly) Mana of Lyndonville, Angelo Mana, Christopher Mana and his wife of FL, Katrina Mana of Oakfield, Cassandra (Mike) Murphy of FL; step-children Laurie Froman, Sherrie Carter both of Albion; several grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; sisters Joyce Taddeo of FL, Dorothy (Ernie) Bullivant of CO as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.  He was predeceased by his grandson Chadd Froman; sister Janet Young; brother Roy VanPatten.

The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 W. Ave. Albion Monday July 29th 4-7pm where his Memorial Service will be held at 7:00pm followed by Military Honors.
