Obituary of Elmer A. LePard

Elmer A. LePard, age 97, died August 13, 2019 in Niagara Hospice. 

He was born July 29, 1922 in Middleport and was a lifetime resident of this area. 

Elmer lived and worked on his dairy farm with his wife and children for more than 25 years.  He also worked at the Niagara Power Project and for 22 years at Harrison Radiator.  Elmer was a member of the Medina Moose, the Eagles, and was a member of the Free and Accepted Masons for over 75 years.  He will always be remembered for his big smile and the love he had for his family.

 Elmer was the beloved husband of the late Bernice (Reisman) LePard, beloved father of Brenda Campbell, Sandra (Leslie) Vaughn, Carol (Wayne) Woodin Jr., Ronald LePard and the late Laura LePard.  He was dear grandfather of Tracey, Jeffrey, Tricia, Aaron, Eric, Lisa, Christopher, Jeremy, Ashley and Spencer.  He was great-grandfather of Jordan, Clayton, Ryan, Mason, Aurora, Thomas, Tucker, Wessin and Kalyn.  He was the brother of his late twin sister Eleanor Dees-Detweiler, John LePard, Violet Ward-Haubert, Gladys Jann, Hazel McKenna, Edna Mae Conlin.  He’s also survived by several nieces and nephews. 

The family will receive friends at the Bates, Wallace & Heath Funeral Home, 38 State St.-Middleport, MONDAY 8/19/19 from 4-7 p.m. where his Funeral Service will be held TUESDAY at 10 a.m.  Interment will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
