Obituary of Robert W. Turner

Barre:  Robert W. Turner, 76, passed away peacefully in his sleep August 19, 2019.  Bob was born November 3, 1942 in Albion, a son of the late Cleo and Frances (Hamilton) Turner.  He was a devoted member of the Walker Bible Baptist Church.  Bob will be remembered for his kindness and love, and will be missed by many.

He was predeceased by his son “Bobby”  Bob is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Karen; adoring children, Bill (Karen) Turner, Carol (Lynette Templeton) Turner, Cheryl Turner, and Kelly (Eric) Rice; beloved grandchildren, Mckayla (Brian) McCanna, Jenna Gessel and Kris Gessel, Janae, Opal, Brayden and Ava Rice; great-granddaughter, Millie McCanna; sister-in-law, Myra Turner and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Celebration of Bob’s Life will be held at the Walker Bible Baptist Church 1425 Walker Lake Ontario Rd. Hilton, NY 14468 on Saturday August 31, at 3:00pm.  Interment will be private in West Barre Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to the Walker Bible Baptist Church.
