Mark will always be known for his expertise in the Antiques Field and his love for his Basset Hounds.  He was a quick wit and was a gentle wonderful man.  He was a 1969 Graduate of Batavia High School,   attended GCC and was well known for his work at the Genesee Country Play House Theatre.  He was in Retail most of his life and also worked in Banking for a few years. He ended  his career in Retail by  helping to run one of the most wonderful jobs he says he ever had at Ridge Road Station in Holley; the largest Christmas Store in W.N.Y.  He loved that job and called himself the “ The Head Elf” there.

Mark and Richard traveled all over the world, but was always grounded at their home in the woods, which he couldn’t believe he owned, “Kentwood” as he called it.   Mark was an avid Antique collector and had a business for the last 30+ years. He enjoyed  working with people looking for that special Antique. He liked  working along  other antique vendors at The Shops On West Ridge where  he had multiple shops and showcase for the last 9 years.
