Obituary of Ida Linda Callicutt-Sisson

(Albion)  Ida “Linda” "Poochie" Callicutt-Sisson of Albion NY passed away peacefully October 18, 2019.  Linda was born January 11, 1951 in Rockingham NC to the late James T. Wall, Sr. and Effie Wall.

Linda was well known in the community for her many years of working as a nurse, attending church and singing in the community choir.  Linda had a laugh that was contagious and known miles away. She loved to travel, attend sporting events,  musical concerts, festivals and most importantly the casino. She was always up for an adventure and the life of the party.  Linda’s true love was spending time with her family and friends. She was one of the kindest people you would ever meet, for she always opened her heart and home to anyone and will be deeply missed.

Linda was predeceased by her mother, father, husband Joe D. Callicutt Sr., Daughter Kathleen “Kat” Callicutt and Granddaughter Ciara Callicutt.  She is survived by her “BOYS” Ronald (Tisha) Wall of Newark DE, Joe (Pam) Callicutt, Jr. of Gates NY, Rayford (Sarah) Callicutt of Albion NY, Andre (Laurie) Callicutt of Hingham MA, Shawn (Stephanie) Callicutt of Albion, Siblings: Evelyn Rush, Laura (Andrus) Rodriguez, Christine(Johnny) Smith, Evangelist Peggy (Liddon)Bullock, James T. Wall, Jr., Ray Charles Wall, Mary Darlene Wall. Grandchildren: Joseph, Rayford Jr., Marque, Hailee, Isaiah, Rylend, Logan, Avery and Landyn Callicutt , 5 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 W. Ave. Albion on Wednesday October 23rd from 5-8.  A celebration of her life will be held on Thursday October 24th at 11:00am at the Albion First Presbyterian Church, 29 East State Street Albion NY 14411.
