To the Family of Henry Haibach,
As someone who owned a '69 Plymouth Satellite with a 318, a '70 Plymouth Satellite "wagon" with another virtually indestructible 318, a Dodge Colt and a '73 Dodge pickup with a slant six, I had an early fondness for Mopar products myself. That doesn't include the two 1949 Dodges that we have ridden around in--one of which we still have. As noted in Henry's obituary, he was a serious Mopar Man.
But I knew him more as a quiet student of mine at Kendall. He is one of too many to have predeceased me.
Henry is someone I remember fairly well, though I am not sure I would have recognized him once he got into his fifties. To me he was a good kid who treated his teachers with the respect he seemed to have for everyone else--even Chevy and Ford owners! He is another of many people I wish that I had been given a chance to say, "Good-bye" to.
In my view, the world was better off for having had Henry in it.
My sincere condolences to his family.
Sincerely,
Gary Kent

I hope that I can live the way this true icon did - Henry was an inspiration, always smiling, laughing, and joking with everyone. Nothing phased him, he just lived life to the fullest (at least that is what he showed his friends!) I've looked up to him, as he is so compassionate about his family and friends. He loved unconditionally all, especially his wife Sheila, Kids, grandkids and furbabies! I hope he is in heaven talking everyone's ears off about cars, and taking care of all the furbabies there too. He was a great man, and in true Henry fashion, will go out with a sideways going, white smoke billowing, burn out to heaven! You will be missed my friend, but your legion will live on! Thank you for showing us how to have fun, live life to the fullest and share love with one another!!
