Obituary of Caroline M. Bartram

Caroline M. Bartram, 80, of Middleport, passed away peacefully December 29, 2019 at her home. She was born March 19, 1939 in Newfane, a daughter of the late Rollin & Helen (Miller) Helwig. Caroline enjoyed wintering in Florida, playing shuffle board, camping, fishing (she always caught the most), lighthouses, going to the casino and attending her grandchildren’s events. She was predeceased by her daughter, Christine Nobel, granddaughter, Carylon Nobel, two sisters and two brothers. Caroline is survived by her loving husband, James Bartram; children, Dan (Tanya) Hillman, Dave Hillman, Candy (Tony) Porter, Shane (Kerri) Newman, Rebbecca (Wess) Rehwaldt, James Bartram III and Rick Bartram; grandchildren, Tonya (Bill) Cassidy, Tony Porter III, Ashley Porter, Collin Rehwaldt, James Bartram IV, Christopher Bartram, Gabriella Bartram, Emma Bartram, Lidia Bartram, Grace Bartram, Thomas Degenhardt and Cam Newman; great-grandchildren, Taylor Porter, Josephine Cassidy and Blayzz Cassidy; also survived by nieces, nephews and many dear friends. At Caroline’s request, there will be no services and memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Caroline’s arrangements have been entrusted to Sherrie Bream Funeral Home of Gasport.
