Obituary of Leatha Louise (Martin) Taber

ALBION: Leatha Louise Martin Taber’s 45 year battle with Multiple Sclerosis ended on February 8, 2020. She was born in Hamilton, Ontario October 11, 1952. She was a 1970 Graduate of Albion High School and received her B.A in English from Buffalo State in 1974. Her entire career was spent with the Orleans County Dept. of Social Services. Reading was her passion, as well as any British murder mystery on PBS. She is survived by her best friend and husband of 42 years, Tom Taber; their son Ian Martin Taber; brothers and sisters as well as nieces, nephews. She also leaves behind her very special friends Bonnie Hopkins Watson and Kristi Chilson. Per her wishes, there will be no calling hours or services. A private burial of her ashes will be near the top of Mt. Albion Cemetery in the spring. Memorial donations may be made to the M.S. support Group, in care of Susan Weese, 110 Lakewood Village, Medina, NY 14103.
