Obituary of Sandra Michele Kintz

Waterport: Sandra Michele Kintz, age 66, passed away peacefully after a courageous fight with lung cancer at her home on February 10, 2020. She was born August 22, 1953 in Ontario, Canada to the late Leslie and Mona (Pickering) Kaufman. Throughout Sandy’s life she accomplished many things. She was a nurse for 20 years, flipped homes, owned several businesses including the latest being her marina. She enjoyed spending her time on the beach in Florida, fishing, boating, and cooking. She had a great love for animals and was a very kind hearted person. She was predeceased by her parents, Mona and Leslie Kaufman, and her husband Steven P. Kintz. Sandy is survived by her partner in life for over 20 years, John Jackowiec, her dogs, her daughter, Stephanie (Steve) Zalyski, grandchildren, Kourtnee, Justin, along with 4 great-grandchildren and sister, Cathy Lewis. The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 West Ave. Albion, NY 14411 on Sunday, February 16th from 1:00-3:00pm where her Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3:00pm.
