Obituary of Geoffrey L. Whittier

Geoffrey L. Whittier (74) of Waterport, NY passed away on February 19, 2020, at the Martin-Linsin Residence – Hospice of Orleans in Albion, NY after a long career at Eastman Kodak Company and a struggle with prostate cancer. Geoffrey had a strong passion for real estate, his land and his animals. He was raised in Kendall, New York, was a graduate of R.I.T. and was a photographer in the Army. He was predeceased by his father Hiel E. Whittier, brother David H. Whittier, and Son, Scott A. Whittier. He is survived by his Wife, Joan H. Whittier, Son Kevin L. Whittier (Sarah Bechdel), Daughter Rene S. Whittier, Mother, Phyllis S. Whittier, Brother, Hylan R. Whittier, six grandchildren and one great granddaughter, several in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 W. Avenue, Albion on Saturday, February 29, from 1:00-5:00pm. Services will be private. Memorial Donations may be made to Hospice of Orleans, PO Box 489, Albion, NY 14411 in lieu of flowers.
