Obituary of Dorothy M. VanWycke

(WATERPORT) Dorothy VanWycke, age 98, passed away May 6, 2020 after a lengthy illness. She was born on June 27, 1921 in Albion to Fred and Rita (Hoyt) Parker and was a lifelong resident of this area. Mrs. VanWycke was predeceased by her husband Martin after 75 years of marriage. She is survived by her son: Martin (Dolores) VanWycke, her daughter: Judy Ann Snyder, five grandchildren: Kurt (Tammie), Pam (Doug), Gary (Jennifer), Darlene and Charlene. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren: Erick, Jenna, Levi, Erin, Sierra, Bryan and Kayla. There will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions in Dorothy’s name may be made to a charity of your choice. Dorothy’s arrangements have been entrusted to the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. of Albion.
