Obituary of Shirley June Robertson

Holley: Shirley June Robertson, age 86, passed away May 29, 2020. A lifelong resident of Holley, she was born June 9, 1933 to the late Alva and Florence (Comden) Mower. Shirley was known for her cooking and baking. Macaroni and cheese was one of her favorite dishes to make. There were always fresh baked cookies for snacks at the house for her family to enjoy. She loved to watch birds from her back window, especially hummingbirds. Shirley was an avid collector or cruets and was very proud of her collection, often times pointing out her favorites. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband George on October 3, 2017. Shirley is survived by her children, Charles Robertson, Wayne Robertson, Beth (Glenn) Moy, Amy (David) VanDetta, grandson, Dustin (Natasha) Moy, sister, Marian (James) Moore, as well as many nieces and nephews. A private graveside service will be held by the family at Hillside Cemetery in Holley. Shirley’s arrangements have been entrusted to the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. Holley, NY.
