I was sad to read of my Uncle Gerry's passing. He was a very good man in my eyes and I have fond memories of being around him.
I believe he was a solid example of what a Christian father should be to his family - and his children's families reflect that. Not many dads can claim that.
I did not know of his specific recent health struggles and yet find it interesting that I was moved to pray for him by name, in recent weeks, along with many other relatives.
I am happy to hear he had family around him in his last days.
Gerry's life is truly a life to be celebrated. I pray for those who loved him, to try to do just that.
We will all see him soon!

Our sincere condolences to the family and friends of Gerhardt. He always made Bud and I feel welcome, as did Betty in her time. They were the members of Leona’s family we knew the best. I am certain there is a grand family reunion happening now, and that clan is together again. God bless!

He was such a special father. When I think of the word FAITHFULNESS, he lived it, with his LORD and with his life. His heart was beautiful, his faith unshakable. While sad, I rejoice that he is now with the LORD he loved so dearly. I am so grateful to have been blessed by his presence in my life for sixty one years.
