Obituary of John L. Hinkley

(Albion) John L. Hinkley age 40 died July 17, 2020 at United Memorial Medical Center in Batavia following a courageous battle with cancer. He was born February 9, 1980 in Albion, a son of Susan (David) Polisoto and Chester Hinkley and had lived in this area all of his life. John graduated from Albion High School in 1998 where he played soccer and football. He had worked for many years as a drill press operator at Brunner Inc. in Medina. John loved playing softball. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his children Hannah and Dominick Hinkley of Albion; his brother Jeremy (Dawn) Hinkley of Rochester; his sister Jennifer (Glenn) Allport of TN; best friends Corey Vanameron, Kim Albanese as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Family and friends are invited to attend a Graveside Service celebrating his life on Friday November 6, 2020 in Mt. Albion Cemetery on Deerfield Lane beginning at 1:30 p.m. There will also be a fellowship gathering for people to share memories and continue to celebrate John's life on Saturday November 7, 2020 at the home of his children beginning at 2 p.m. Please note that all CDC guidelines for social distancing will be in effect and the wearing of a face covering will be required.
