Obituary of Margaret M. Fink

Lockport: Margaret M. “Midge” Fink age 94 died August 10, 2020 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born August 16, 1925 in Middleport, a daughter of the late Albert and Edith (Hickey) Schilling and had lived in the Lockport area for 37 years. Midge loved playing bingo and going out to eat with her family. She and her husband Robert owned and operated J.C. Fink and Sons General Store in Wolcottsville, NY for many years and later, she worked in retail for various stores in the Lockport area retiring from Hills Department Store in 1998. Midge was a selfless, loving woman who adored her family; especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom she watched while they were growing up. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband Robert J. in 1995; brother Francis Schilling. She is survived by her daughters Carol (Bill Donner) Stevens, Donna (David) Gow; grandchildren Kristin (Jim Schaich) Jamieson, Brian (Amanda Brigham) Hubert, Aaron (Michelle) Bruning, Heather (Chad) Donner, Eric Bruning, Larry Krieger, Jr.; great-grandchildren Chelsey, Alexis, Andrew, Jacob, Owen, Brett, Kaylee, Alana, Amber, Jordyn and Joshua. The family will receive friends at the Bates, Wallace and Heath Funeral Home, 38 State St. Middleport on Friday August 14th 5:00pm-8:00pm where her Funeral Service will be held Saturday at 11:00am. (Guests will be required to wear masks upon entering the funeral home). Burial will be in Royalton Mountain Ridge Cemetery.
