Obituary of Leona F. Blosenhauer

(Holley) Leona F. Blosenhauer age 92, died August 18, 2020 at Unity Hospital. She was born November 4, 1927 in Hannibal NY, a daughter of the late Fredrick and Hazel (Manning) Salisbury and had lived in this area most of her life. Leona was a member of St. Mary’s Church in Holley and a former member of the Fancher Hulberton Murray Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary. Leona will be remembered for her love of baking. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband Joseph E. in 1990; her son David; her brothers Glenn, Irving, Arthur, Victor and Truman Salisbury; sisters, Leah Smonds and Doris Hines. She is survived by her sons John (Jeannine), Gary (Sandy), Joseph (Barbara), Donald (Mary), Tom (Chris); 21 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 16650 State Route 31, Holley, Friday August 21, from 10:00-11:00am, followed by her funeral service at the funeral home at 11:00am. Everyone is required to wear a face mask entering the funeral home. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Fancher Hulberton Murray Fire Co. P.O.
