Obituary of Noreen Messmer

Albion: Noreen Messmer, age 70, passed away unexpectedly on August 21, 2020. She was born August 4, 1950 in Rochester to the late Walter and Carolyn (Plati) Hamm. Noreen worked over 35 years for CVI/Melles Griot in Rochester. She enjoyed reading, movies, traveling the States and all over the world to Japan, Germany, France, Belgium and Italy. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, friends and especially her grandchildren. She also loved to bake and cook whenever she could and she absolutely loved all of her cats. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Michael in 1996, brother, George Hamm and several of her in-laws. Noreen is survived by her children, Julie (William Cabic) Messmer, Jason (Allison) Messmer, Christopher Messmer,10 grandchildren, Miranda, Brandon, Gloria, Lily, Kenya, Michael, Reon, Alex, Jackson and Mason. Sisters-in-laws, Carol, Barbara, Eileen, and Carol. Several Nieces and Nephews. Close friends, Karen Cosmano, Bernie Licherdell and David Hull.
