Obituary of Jeannine H. Desmarais

Jeannine Helen Desmarais (9/28/45-8/28/2020) Jeannine Desmarais entered glorious rest with her Lord Jesus on Friday August 8th. She was a committed and most loving wife to Marcel, loving and always present mother to David and Dennis. She was the beloved daughter of Roger and Marguerite Drouin of Manchester NH. She lived a long life filled with many memorable moments. She worked for Raytheon Company for over 20 years as an electronics technician. In retirement she pursued her dream of owning her own gift shop starting not one but two stores. One in New Hampshire and also Gifts from the Village in Appleton which she opened when they moved to New York. Here she discovered a new passion for creating and hand beading custom jewelry. She adored her nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. When she could, she enjoyed traveling, seeing new sights and trying new things. She loved family gatherings and seeing everyone grow. She will be deeply missed. There will be a service for family at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Niagara Hospice 4675 Sunset Dr. Lockport, NY 14094.
