Obituary of Donna M. Bowen

Clarendon: Donna M. Bowen, 76, passed away Thursday, September 17, at her home surrounded by her loving family. Donna was born September 18, 1943 in Albion, the daughter of the late Clark and Esther (Lavender) Hughson. She he was a Librarian at SUNY Brockport for many years and also taught ceramics. Donna was a foster parent to many children and loved gardening, cooking and all animals, especially her Parrot. Donna also volunteered at the Animal Service League and enjoyed watching the golden oldies on TV. Donna will be remembered for her kind and caring nature, willing to help anyone in need. She was predeceased by her husband Roy. Donna is survived by her son Jason (Crystal) Bowen; grandchildren, Jared. Chelsea, Cassidy, Chloe, Cheyanne and Clarissa; aunt, Grace Bingamon; sister-in-law Charlene Bowen and several nieces, nephews, cousins. The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Home, 16650 Route 31, Holley on Wednesday, September 30, from 5:00-8:00.
