Please accept our condolences to Barb and the Jamieson family at this sad time of loss. Bill was a great man one could look for and up to as a husband, father, teacher, coach, neighbor and friend.
May these spiritual qualities we strive for be in accord with our creator and May he be in the loving arms of our Lord Jesus in the Fathers Kingdom.
With our love in friendship
Joe & Cathy Massaro

To the Jamieson Family,
I am truly sorry for your loss. I have wonderful memories of “Jamo” as Julie’s Dad, a teacher and a coach. He was a special man.

My deepest condolences to Barb and the family on the loss of Bill. Bill was just a gentleman and a really nice person. He loved his dogs and anyone who loves dogs like this is a really good human being. Losing Bill is a loss to the entire community of Middleport. In those many years of teaching and coaching at Roy-Hart , he positively touched the lives of thousands. Then, also, he and Barb raised their family here and continued to call Middleport their home after retirement. This is where we all call upon the Lord for comfort and peace during great waves of grief at losing our loved ones.

We lost a truly good man and good friend yesterday. I taught with Bill for over 25 years . Hunted with him for most of those years. Coached football with him for 10 years. Drank a few beers with him. He was a mentor of mine no matter what we were doing. Oh the stories we could tell. Some of those stories could still incriminate me. I will mention just a couple that won't. I learned early in my teaching career never to question Bill's logic. Two good size senior boys got in a fight in front of Bill's room. I was walking down the hall and saw what was going on. I said to Bill should we break them up. He calmly said "Wagner lets let them tire themselves out first." In less than a minute they were easily escorted to the office.
One more story. I only saw Bill get upset a couple times. When I coached with Bill we always had pretty good teams and all of the other teams knew that Roy-Hart came to play . We stuck up for our kids and they played their hearts out for us. During the game the opposing team had to punt. The punter proceeded to hit one of our rushing linemen in the head and then he (the lineman) hit the punter. The official apparently did not see our man get hit in the helmet and called roughing the kicker. 15 yards and a first down for the other team. I blew up and went out on the field chasing the ref. I told him that our guys work too hard during the week to have some so and so blow the game for them. Another 15 yards. Bill could not take it any more and he went after the ref. After a few choice words another 15 yards. 45 yards in penalties on one play. What a day. Bill is up there laughing right now. Not so much at the stories but at my lack of typing skills.
To the family - thanks for sharing him with us.
