My sincere condolences to the family. Words cannot express the feeling of losing loved ones. The thoughts found at Revelation 21: 4 can be a great source of comfort in time of sorrow. It reads: "He(God) will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” See also Isaiah 25:8. May you find hope and comfort in knowing that, soon, by means of God's Kingdom, no one will ever fall prey of this merciless enemy.

I have had the pleasure of knowing Shirley and her family for years. Every time that I was at the house, I was greeted with a hug and a smile. She always made you feel special, she always made you smile. I am extremely blessed to have known her, and to be close friends with her son Gary and daughter in law Ruthie. She did an incredible job of raising her children, they have great memories to share and keep in their heart. Love to all her family.

Dear Ryan, Jack, and the entire Smith family,
I am so deeply sorry about your Grandma. Grandma Shirley was a wonderful soul, who brightened the days and lives of others around her. Remember her laugh, her smile, her generosity, her Grandma hugs, and her kindheartedness. She was most proud of her grandchildren. I will always remember her in the fondest regards.
A big hug and a toast to Grandma Shirley.
With love,

My heartfelt sympathies to the family. While I moved away from the area years ago, I still have fond memories of my childhood around Shirley. Ernie and Shirley would always visit our Dad, Glenn and my Mom Helen on holidays and always brought gifts to share. It was great fun every year. As a young boy, I would visit the house and join her boys in some playtime. Loved that house on the hill. Then later in life, any time I would come back to Albion there would be times I would run into her at Walmart and we'd chat for a bit. The most recent time was when my Mom and late brother Richard saw Ernie and Shirley at the old Apollo Restaurant. We actually sat in their booth and visited awhile. Certainly I will miss her smile and laugh. I can't say how much she will be missed. I know she was loved by everyone. I have great memories.
